Established in 1985, we’ve led the way with a solid comprehensive solution.  We’ve now put together a small team and are underway building the next-generation aviation maintenance logistics solution, and need a strong senior developer to complete the team.

Current Positions

Senior Developer

Senior full-stack web/mobile developer/architect.  Responsible for assisting with the design, architecture, development, testing and deployment of new features planned for the next-generation web/mobile based aviation maintenance logistics solution.

You’ll be working in an Agile-scrum team with more junior team members.  You’ll take the lead on designing some new parcels of work and refactoring of existing designs as necessary.  You’ll use your broad experience to coach the team in best practice software engineering. You’ll be working across the full application stack – from the front end to the back end.  You’ll lead/assist in application deployment to hosted and cloud environments. You’ll play a pivotal role in mapping out and delivering our mobile strategy.

You’ll be working with the following technologies:

• Java (Play)
• Javascript (AngularJS) + HTML/CSS
• Database (Hibernate & SQL Anywhere)
• Testing (Protractor & Gherkin)
• Jira + Confluence
• Plastic (SCM)
• Some PowerBuilder + Cobol

The person

Specific skills & experience should include examples in each of the following:

• Software Design Methodologies
• Object Oriented Programming Languages
• Web Development Languages & Frameworks
• Relational Databases
• Automated Testing
• CASE Tools

Skills & experience in the specific technologies we are using will be a bonus.

The following areas will also be looked upon favourably:

• Knowledge of the aviation industry – in particular aircraft regulatory maintenance/compliance.
