WORK ORDERS MODULE
|
The Work Orders Module tracks all parts issued and all work carried out on any assigned job. Work Orders can be raised for various tasks such as work to be performed on aircraft and unfitted assemblies, clients and general work as applicable. Flat rates and standard costs can be used as required. The work order system can be set up to operate in a "real time mode" or to allocate time and material values when records are processed. The electronic time clock within the system provides a sophisticated method of tracking hours worked by engineers for each shift when this system is used in real time (Integrated) mode. It is also used to record Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) logging onto jobs to record the hours worked on them. When a job is completed, the work can be electronically signed off by both the LAME and the AME using their individual Personal Identification Number (PIN).
The interface with the inventory system allows personnel to issue and requisition parts directly from stores with costs being automatically assigned to the work order. Invoices for labour and material performed on customers aircraft can be generated when all jobs on the work order have been completed and signed off.
The system also produces a report that can be used by the payroll system as an attendance record for engineers.
