"IAS is the type of system, which is designed for the aviation industry as it can accommodate from Purchasing of stock to controlling the stock. The system also controls accurate information of inspections carried out and component changes on the aircraft. It also controls the maintenance that must be carried out on the aircraft as well as all defects that occur and have been cleared. This also includes the Ground Support Equipment and the cost of maintenance carried out per aircraft or per work order. With every action that is made it is interlinked with another action and there is a constant history trail of all actions made. IAS is a user-friendly system, which interlinks with maintenance, stores and accounts department; it is hard to find a system that can handle all three aspects.
