MAINTENANCE MODULE

The Maintenance Module maintains records for parts, services and technical instructions on aircraft and utilises a structure of higher assembly levels to track component assemblies. This enables the user to process complete assemblies including inspections, services, technical instructions with a minimum of data input. Each assembly can have further assemblies attached to them as required, thus setting the record tracking levels.

The status of all current aircraft records can be tracked, and from this forecasts of work requirements can be produced to assist in planning future work.

Automatic reordering recommendations are generated from these forecasts to ensure minimum material shortages occur during planned work. All parts, services and inspections have multiple tracking capabilities in any combination of Hours, Landings/Cycles and Days/Months/Years. RIN and abbreviated cycles are also controlled.

As aircraft flying times are entered, all records on the aircraft are automatically updated to reflect the new times. History cards are maintained for all parts and inspections within the system and can be viewed as required.

An overall status display, or report of compliance of ADs, SBs, EIs etc. along with an aircraft inventory listing of all other records, is available for each aircraft in the system. A series of validation reports is available to allow for checking of completeness and accuracy of the Aircraft records against the IAS Catalog data.

All work performed on an aircraft can be optionally linked to the work order system to allow accurate monitoring of time and material costs for selected jobs as required. Maintenance Planning includes a feature which allows items to be identified by MNEMONICS. The selected items due dates can be displayed based on variable flying rates for either an aircraft, a fleet or all fleets in a chronological sequence.
