INVENTORY MODULE
|
The Inventory Module provides comprehensive control of all expendables (consumables), repairables (rotables - serialised), assemblies, parts on loan, and services to parts.
Multiple stores stores can be set up for use in the system with reorder levels configurable by Part and location. Automatic tracking of parts' warranty conditions is a valuable feature of IAS. Users can perform all normal daily functions such as receiving, requisitioning, reserving, issuing, exchanging, loaning and transferring parts.
Part relationship cross-references help personnel find alternate parts when primary parts are not available in stock, thus reducing delays and costs.
Stock levels can be maintained at optimum levels, as the system monitors stock movements and provides reorder recommendations based on flag levels set by the operator, in real time if required.
Historical information by way of part history cards and cost history is maintained for all repairable parts throughout the system.
|
Inventory is divided into sub modules to allow appropriate access levels to users, aligned with their duties. Therefore included within Inventory is Purchasing and Accounting.
